Introducing Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc. is a Multicultural Greek organization established on March 23rd, 1994. We are a cultural, social, educational, and community service oriented sorority. Sigma Psi Zeta has 43 memberships and over 3,000 SYZters providing connections from all over the U.S. The Alpha Chi Chapter was chartered on November 17th, 2021 at Washington State University.The Alpha Chi Chapter is here to pursue our 10 Founding Mothers’ mission of raising awareness about combating violence against women in its varied forms. We aim to spread awareness, to provide resources, and a community for those who have been a victim of violence. Sigma Psi Zeta is partnered with “It’s On Us” to ensure the combat of sexual violence on college campuses. Our motto “Lead From The Front” is to build strong and independent women who are leaders of change within their community.

Introducing The Lovely Sisterhood Of Chi Delta Sigma Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight Founded on February 8, 2007 here at Washington State University’s Pullman campus, The Lovely Sisterhood of Chi Delta Sigma Sorority, Inc. is proud to be the FIRST and ONLY Asian-American Pacific Islander interest based sorority established on our campus. We are non-exclusive and welcoming to all, we believe everyone looks good in purple. Our lovely founding mothers, Nicole Crebillo, Noelle Valbuena, and Jaquiline Balatbat envisioned an organization that would create a lasting space for empowerment, cultural awareness, and lifelong sisterhood. Guided by our motto, “First on Campus, First in History.” Chi Delta Sigma continues to honor its legacy by fostering an environment where members can thrive academically, socially, and personally while building a home away from home. Our five pillars-Academic Excellence, Leadership, Awareness, Diversity, and Sisterhood-serve as the foundation of our organization and guide everything we do. They reflect our commitment to fostering academic success, developing confident and compassionate leaders, promoting cultural awareness, embracing diversity, and building meaningful lifelong connections. The Lovely Sisterhood of Chi Delta Sigma Sorority, Inc. is dedicated to service and advocacy through our support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Alzheimer’s Disease. Through educational programmings, fundraising, and community engagement, we strive to bring awareness and support to those impacted by these causes and uplift those impacted by them.

Introducing Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight In the fall of 1989, a group of collegiate women recognized the need to create an organization that would empower women from all around the nation. This vision led to the founding of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated at the University of lowa, lowa City, lowa, with a focus on providing academic and social support for Latina women. On April 9, 1990, SLG was officially recognized as a sorority, marking the founding of our organization. In the fall of 2009, a group of women at Washington State University expressed a strong interest in establishing a new sorority on campus. They were determined to bring Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. to this campus. This effort culminated on May 9, 2012, when Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. was officially founded at Washington State University. The AlchEmizing Alpha Epsilon Chapter focuses on empowering women and the world by working together to uplift each sister to help them grow as individuals and as members of a larger community. We as sisters support, empower, and conquer challenges and opportunities which allow us to lead with confidence. We value the strength that comes with being a woman of distinction. As a Latina founded organization and the nation’s largest growing Multicultural sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. welcomes women from all cultural backgrounds. Introducing Chi Sigma Alpha National Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight Chi Sigma Alpha National Sorority Incorporated, is an Asian-American interest but non-exclusive sorority. We were founded at the University of Washington on September 25th, 2002 by nine strong women, who wanted to create an organization with the purpose of setting new and higher standards of excellence for Asian-American interest sororities locally and nationally. On March 9th, 2013 the Beta Chapter of Chi Sigma Alpha was chartered here at Washington State University by six sensational women. The sisters of Chi Sigma Alpha are passionate, dedicated women who strive to develop their skills in academics, leadership, character, and service through strength in sisterhood.

Introducing Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight Founded at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington in 2016. Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. was originally founded in 1975 at Kean University, becoming the first Latina-based sorority in the nation. Established by 17 strong and independent women, the organization was created to empower Latinas and provide a space for the advancement of the universal woman through educational, political, and social awareness.The Zeta Sigma Chapter was founded by 21 lovely dedicated women who came together to bring this vision to Washington State University, creating a space rooted in empowerment, sisterhood, and service to the community. The sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha stand firmly behind the pillars of Unity, Love and Respect. The presence of Lambda Theta Alpha, both as an organization and sisterhood, is to uplift and support women of all backgrounds while fostering a strong sense of identity, purpose, and leadership. Introducing Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. Is the First Latina Based Soronty in the Pacific North West and at Washington State University. Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. was established on January 25, 1993, on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Our eight founders envisioned a sorority that will increase the number of women with a college education, provide mentors for youth, women, and under represented communities, enhance the individual leader in each member and provide a family of lifelong support for sisters who live their lives by the pillars of Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship, and Unity. Our mission is to empower women through education, mentorship, and lifelong sisterhood. As a Latina-founded, multicultural organization, we are committed to increasing the number of women pursuing higher education and advanced degrees while providing mentorship to youth, women, and underrepresented communities. Introducing Alpha Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. | MGC Spotlight Founded at Washington State University on February 27, 2008, Alpha Nu Multicultural Sorority Incorporated is the first and only multiculturally founded and based organization on campus. The seven founding mothers: Perla Fletes-Houston, Yuliana Alvarez Garcia, Andrea Lowe Walter, Joyce Erikson McMahan, Brenda Y. Gonzalez Meza, Karina Rojas Rodriguez, and CamilleN. Wall came from diverse ethnic backgrounds uniting to create an environment for young womn of all backgrounds to flourish. Guided by the motto, “Come As You Are,” our organization fosters an inclusive environment where every member is weicomed, valued, and empowered. Our colors-Turquoise, Black, and Silver-along with our mascot, the Black Panther with Turquoise Eyes, and our symbols, the White Orchid and Aquamarine gemstone, represent the strength, resilience, and individuality of our sisterhood. We proudly support the American Cancer Society as our philanthropy, reflecting our commitment to serving others and making a positive impact in our communities. Alpha Nu is dedicated to embracing diversity, promoting cultural unity, supporting higher education, empowering women of all backgrounds to become leaders, and inspiring others to uphold our values. Introducing Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity Inc. | MGC Spotlight Lambda Phi Epsilon was founded on February 25, 1981, by principal founder Master Craig Ishigo and a group of eighteen other dedicated men on the campus of the University of California of Los Angeles. Noting that Asian fraternities and sororities at the UC campuses were recognized only as service organizations due to their memberships focus on specific Asian groups and to the exclusion of other ethnic groups, the goal of the founders was to transcend this limitation. The founders hoped to set new and higher standards of excellence for all Asian-interest organizations to follow, while feeling a need to offer a fraternity that would be recognized by the FC and the Greek system. While the original charter focused on Asian Pacific Americans, people from all ethnic backgrounds were welcome to join and support the brotherhood of Lambda Phi Epsilon. Their vision was that the members would eventually become the leaders of their respective communities and bridge the gaps that divided the Asian American community through an affiliation with a common organization.
